Arjen A. Lucassen, multi-instrumentiste et chanteur a enregistré son album live les 15 et 16 septembre 2017 à Tilburg, aux Pays-Bas devant 9000 personnes et avec pas moins de 16 chanteurs et 8 musiciens.

Après deux années de tournage, Ayreon Universe est un opéra rock complet, avec des chansons de tous les albums d’Ayreon, dont «The Source» de 2017, ainsi que quelques  hits de Star One.
